Sustainable construction and energy efficiency to become the highlights of BuildinGreen 2010

BuildInGreen Bulgaria 2010 - Sustainable Building & Energy Efficiency Conference will focus on the standards and requirements stipulated in some laws – the Energy Efficiency Law, the law on multifamily buildings and the law on spatial planning as far as energy efficiency is concerned.

Renewal of buildings, coordination of various energy efficiency-related activities, construction and energy renewal, as well as the latest changes to Ordinance 7 concerning energy efficiency and energy saving in buildings are some of the highlights of the event.
A separate panel is dedicated to building renovation finance schemes - opportunities, problems and actions.

Spatial planning, architectural and engineering design of green buildings are also some of the issues to be discussed by the participants in the forum. One of the crucial things regarding the efficiency of urban planning is the adequacy of the aims and proper implementation of spatial plans.

An emphasis will be placed on sustainable construction -technologies, materials and management. As far as buildings are concerned, this is usually associated with higher price. However, as in every sphere of economy, this would only continue until new, quality and more efficient technologies make their way through.
